SUMMER LAWN CONCERTS FAQ'S



Masks are optional and not required for vaccinated patrons. Unvaccinated patrons are asked to wear a mask outside of their pod. Attendees may remove their mask once in their purchased pod. Staff and volunteers will be wearing masks for the comfort and safety of our volunteers and patrons.

A pod is a section of the viewing lawn that seats up to four (4) or six (6) patrons. Each pod is physically distanced from other pods, which allows patrons to enjoy the performance while following physical distancing guidelines.  Each 4-person pod is 6’ wide by 8’ deep. Each 6-person pod is 9’ wide by 8’ deep. Your entire party must fit within the boundaries of these pod markings (including but not limited to coolers, chairs, bags, strollers, etc.).

We are asking patrons with blankets to sit in the front of the field, with low chairs immediately behind, and high backed chairs near the rear of the field. Placement is subject to your arrival time as pods are first come first served.

Yes. The pod system has been designed to ensure all patrons are physically distanced, and to maximize the number of individuals who can attend a performance. Similarly, if you have more than four or six people, you must purchase more than one pod.

Yes, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover) will be accepted at our Box Office and concession areas. Patrons may also purchase with cash.

Yes, outside food and non-alcoholic beverage items are welcome. Beverages, including bottled water, soda, and pre-packaged alcohol will be available for purchase on site. Food trucks/vendors will be on site for your dining convenience.

No. Patrons may bring their own lawn chairs and/or blankets. The use of umbrellas and canopies is not allowed.

Rockwood Park is a smoke-free venue. Smoking, including the use of vaporizer devices, is prohibited on the grounds, as well as in the restrooms. 

Yes, strollers and blankets are allowed. Strollers may be used in your pod as a seat. There is no designated parking area for strollers. Blankets are welcome but must fit within the pod outline.  

We strongly recommend arriving no later than 30 minutes prior to the performance time listed on your ticket.  The gates will open at 6:30pm for the 8pm performance allowing patrons to picnic and enjoy the space before the performance.

Tickets are non-refundable; all sales are final. If a show is canceled, ticket buyers will be notified. If a refund is issued, purchasers will be notified via email. Patron reentry is not permitted, all exits are final.

It will always be the intention of The Grand to hold the show as weather permits. The show may continue through light wind or rain. The Grand management will initiate a rain delay. If the inclement weather does not subside, or the conditions have made the stage unsafe for performers, guests will be asked to attend the rain date (typically the following day), if The Grand is unable to reschedule guests will be refunded their tickets. The Grand management has final say on whether a show must be cancelled.

Hand sanitizer will be provided around the venue entrance and bathrooms.

As a live performance venue, guests should expect others will stand and dance. Please be courteous and aware of those around you. That includes refraining from loud conversations, talking on cellphones, or engaging in otherwise inappropriate behavior.

All patrons of The Grand must abide by all federal, state, and local laws.

Except for service animals, pets are not permitted.

The use of cameras, audio, and video recording (including drones) during events is prohibited except by authorized press and personnel. 

Your attendance at events presented by The Grand may be digitally recorded through photographs or video recordings. These images may be posted on our website, in local publications, on the Internet, as well as in printed and digital marketing/promotional materials. 

State guidelines on social distancing, public gatherings, and certain producers and practices are subject to change. Events and policies are subject to change without notice.
