We are excited to announce our 2026-2027 Broadway in Wilmington Season with a thrilling lineup of Tony® Award winning Playhouse Premieres and returning hits! The 4-show subscription series kicks off with THE WIZ this Fall. This brand-new production of the Tony® Award-winning Musical that took the world by storm returns to The Playhouse for the first time since 1978. Next, we’re thrilled to present The Playhouse premiere of global sensation SIX. From Tudor Queens to Pop Icons, the SIX wives of Henry VIII take the microphone to remix five hundred years of historical heartbreak into a Euphoric Celebration of 21st century girl power. Direct from Broadway, the ghost-with-the-most is coming to Wilmington next Spring, with The Playhouse premiere of BEETLJEJUICE! We close our season with another premiere, the smash-hit musical THE BODYGUARD, based on the iconic film starring Whitney Houston!
The Grand is proud to announce two special season additions next Winter. In January, The Playhouse presents Clue, based on the fan-favorite 1985 Paramount Pictures movie and inspired by the classic Hasbro board game. In February, get ready for A BEAUTIFUL NOISE: THE NEIL DIAMOND MUSICAL-the uplifting true story of how a kid from Brooklyn became a show-stopping American rock icon.
