In response to the State of Delaware’s recommendation that all large gatherings be suspended to limit community transmission of COVID-19, all scheduled public gatherings are postponed until the date(s) specified by local officials, subject to ongoing reassessment. The health and safety of all is our top priority.
We are working to reschedule as many of the affected events as possible, but at this time there is no information on new dates. When a new date is announced, you will be notified and new tickets will be reissued to you.
This impacts all performances at The Grand Opera House, The Playhouse on Rodney Square, and the baby grand.
Please keep in mind that The Grand Opera House and The Playhouse on Rodney Square are a 501c3 non-profit organization and we are responding as quickly as possible to a rapidly changing and unprecedented global situation. We ask for your patience and understanding as we navigate our next steps.
If you have purchased tickets to a postponed event, you have three options:
Hold on to your original tickets until a rescheduled date has been announced, at which time you will receive new tickets.
We ask that you consider donating the value of your tickets. You will receive a tax receipt for your generous contribution.
You may exchange your tickets for future performances in the 2020–21 season.
