VISITING

The Grand Opera House and The Playhouse on Rodney Square are located two blocks from one another on Market Street in an increasing vibrant downtown Wilmington. A number of superb restaurants are within easy walking distance of either theater; many of those participate in our Stage Door Pass program available to subscribers (see more details here). Ample parking is also available within just a few blocks of The Grand and Playhouse.

For The Grand and the baby grand: The Doubletree garage on King Street provides free parking to Grand subscribers (vouchers required), but is also available to all patrons at reasonable evening rates. Parking can also be found on surrounding streets and is free after 6PM and on weekends.

For The Playhouse on Rodney Square: Broadway in Wilmington subscribers receive free parking (must have a parking voucher) at the Community Services Garage at 11th & Orange Streets. This is the ONLY garage that your parking voucher will work at. This garage stays open until 11pm. Single ticket buyers may pay for parking at the Community Services Garage at 11th & Orange Streets. Parking can also be found on surrounding streets and is free after 6PM and on weekends.
