Coming straight out of Missouri, Ha Ha Tonka specializes in disarming and effortless anthems that owe as much to high and lonesome Ozarks mountain music as driven college rock. Sitting at the crossroads of Americana and indie, Ha Ha Tonka is one of the most buzzed about young bands in America with People Magazine naming them #5 on their “14 Rising and Returning Bands to Know at SXSW 2014.” Their new record, Death of a Decade debuted on Billboard Top 200 and was followed by a near-sold out CD release tour in 2011. The band tours nationally, and also supports many great bands such as the Old 97s, Langhorne Slim, Meat Puppets, and this spring will perform with Jason Isbell.
