The Grand's Steel Band
Join our campaign and donate

Here at The Grand our mission is to provide an opportunity for community members, ages 7 to adult, to learn to play steel drums and be part of a performing ensemble, while also increasing community awareness of the steel band and Caribbean culture. BUT THIS COMES AT A COST. The Grand and Steel Drum instructor Atiba Fields provide all of the instruments to the students for their weekly rehearsals, many of which are Fields’ personal drums that he transports back and forth each week. Our goal is to raise $15,000 so we may purchase more instruments to keep on-site permanently so the band can grow and thrive in the future.

Any denomination is appreciated and no amount is too small!
We hope you are willing to donate to this wonderful cause.
Many in Delaware can’t travel to the islands to play or even hear the steel drums, but you can help us bring the Caribbean to Wilmington!
