2014 Summer Children's Theater
The Grand’s Summer Children’s Theater presents a variety of fun and engaging performances with a strong focus on local artists. Each show is a unique adventure offering something for everyone, from larger-than-life characters to classic fairy tales – with a twist! We also offer the chance for local students to audition and perform with Missoula Children’s Theater.
Summer Children’s Theater is designed to introduce children to the excitement of live performance. Most shows are appropriate for children ages 3 and up, and all of them are perfect for schools, summer camps, daycares, and families.
Running time for all shows is approximately one hour. Tickets are only $5 (suggested donation), and seats may be reserved by making your donation in advance. If you prefer to bring your donation on the day of the show, you will be given the best seats available at the time of your arrival. This reservation policy ensures the fairest possible seating assignments.
PLEASE NOTE:Donations must be received at least 48 hours in advance to reserve seats. After this time, please plan to arrive early on the day of the show for walk-up seating. Doors open 30 minutes before the start of the show.

Wilmington Drama League
Thursday, July 10 at 10 AM & 1 PM
Local playwright, Matt Casarino, puts a comic spin on the classic fairy tale as Goldilocks is confronted by the Three Bears... and Joe, the Bears' species exchange student. In her travels, a slew of fairy tale characters cross her path to give advice and tell their tales. This musical adaptation teaches young audiences the meaning of responsibility through its clever, upbeat dialogue and audience participation.

An original from Donna Swajeski, who also wrote DCT’s popular Snow White, presents a humorous re-telling of this wonderful fairy tale with a contemporary twist, fresh new characters, battling fairy godmothers, a boy band, and the spell-binding Princess Aurora. (This show is geared to pre-teens and teens, best for kids over age 6.)

The Reggy© Show takes the audience on a series of learning adventures that include messages about physical fitness, safety, friendship, and more! With audience participation and plenty of surprises along the way, this is one show you don’t want to miss.

The Missoula Children’s Theatre proudly presents an original musical adaptation of the Brothers’ Grimm age-old tale of a journey, a secret and a grand adventure. There’s music and laughter and thrills and chills. So join the fun as Hansel and Gretel’s dream is mysteriously blended with real life, and the lessons of one apply to the other. You’ll learn the secret of the Wildwood – but shhh – don’t tell!
