Rock Academy at The Grand

 

Learn rehearsal techniques, how to perform with a group, plus music theory, composition, improvisation, and more. Develop creative techniques for blending varied styles. Then, as it all comes together… Perform in a showcase at The Grand!

Open to all musicians: Guitar, Bass, Drums, Vocals, Piano, Keyboard, Strings, Brass, Reeds. Ages 10-18. Click here for the registration form.

Guitar instructor Shaun Dougherty is a native of Delaware, graduated from A.I. DuPont High School and Berklee College of Music. He is on the faculty of the Arts Academy at The Grand, teaches guitar ensemble at Cab Calloway School of the Arts, and brings more than 25 years of experience in playing, teaching, producing, writing, and touring.
